...Scratch Races of the H. U. B. C. were rowed over the Boat House course, Saturday, May 17. The single scull race was easily won by W. F. Weld, Jr., '76, with D. C. Bacon, '76, a bad second. For the double race there were two entries: F. S. Watson and F. R. Appleton, and C. W. Wetmore and W. Hartwell, all of '75.
