Yesterday afternoon, about all the members of the various athletic organizations took advantage of the mild weather to get some practice in the open air. Jarvis Field presented a very animated appearance. At the lower end the 'Varsity nine were at work, while the freshman nine and lacrosse team had taken possession of the upper portion of the field. The freshman nine engaged in field work under the supervision of Captain Bates. They showed in their work the lack of practice which necessarily follows after the inaction of six months.
