Owing to lack of ice, no scrub hockey games were played yesterday, but teams in the first round, as listed in yesterday's CRIMSON, will play today weather permitting. A complete list of the members of both teams must be sent to the manager of the University hockey team at the Athletic Office after each game. ...boat club has recently received a new English shell, the gift of W. C. Baylies '84. The shell was made by the firm of George Sims & Son, the noted boat-builders, of Putney, England. It is now in the boathouse, and has not yet been tried out. If favorable weather presents itself, the boat will be given a trial this week upon the river. ...University shooting team defeated Princeton in the annual dual match on Soldiers Field yesterday by the score of 208 to 179. The light was excellent for shooting but the cold weather and a baffling northwest wind in the faces of the shooters was somewhat troublesome. The best individual score was made by B. M. Higginson '10, who broke 46 out of a possible 50 birds. The Sargent system of traps was used, the birds being sent out with a 16-yard rise, at unknown angles...
