...poor weather conditions this season having made it impossible to try out the crews satisfactorily, the outcome of the race is difficult to predict. The disbanding of the University third crew several weeks ago benefitted the Junior crew more than any other, and several men who otherwise would have been rowing in the first crew were dropped to the second.
