About 500 people witnessed the dress rehearsal of the "Agamemnon" yesterday afternoon in the Stadium. Weather conditions were ideal. The chorus and the speakers could be heard distinctly from all parts of the auditorium, and the simple music was very effective. The entire performance went off smoothly, and, except for some minor changes in the grouping, no improvement seemed necessary...
...Yale crews leave today for Gales Ferry, to begin final preparation for the Harvard-Yale race on June 28. The weather during the past week has permitted work on the harbor at New Haven, and the men have been given long, hard rows in order to test their endurance. The order of the university boat is still uncertain. Boulton is practically sure to stroke the crew, although he has had to win his position over again since the Annapolis race. Weeks, who has rowed bow for two years, has been in the second boat for the past two weeks...
Owing to the bad weather the University team has held no practice since its return to Cambridge...
This afternoon the weather allowed good practice, and the University crew won a two-mile race against the two second crews and the freshmen. E. T. Foote '06 returned to his position at stroke. All the men are in good condition and the work showed much improvement over any other performance this season...
