...Philadelphia on Saturday, in weather that was sharp and bracing, the Harvard eleven made its best showing of the season thus far, and won its sixth successive victory over the University of Pennsylvania by a score of 17 to 10. The crowd of 25,000 enthusiastic spectators saw an exhibition of exceedingly spirited football, and a contest that was sensational and exciting from start to finish. Under very adverse weather conditions the first Weld won the first section race in the fall graded races yesterday afternoon, and the third Weld the second section, the former defeating the first Newell by a length and a half, and the latter easily defeating the third Newell by about ten lengths. The winners of both sections took the lead from the start and maintained it throughout the race...

Six men will constitute the team...

The series of games will be played on consecutive afternoons at 3 o'clock on Soldiers Field...

The track events, with the exception of the hurdles and two-mile, were run in fairly fast time. On the other hand, the showing in the field events was decidedly poor, with the exception of the shot-put. In securing one first, three seconds, and two thirds, the Freshmen made a creditable showing...
