...Hasty Pudding Club gave "The Duenna, or the Freak, the Frump, and the Friar" before an audience which crowded the club's theatre. The play was exceedingly well presented and acting, singing, scenery and costumes combined to make it most successful. Mr. Weaver as Sir Barney E'Claire made the hit of the evening.
