...when the name of Airedale was given to this 'breed of dogs? In the Standard Dictionary, there is a whole page given illustrating the various breeds of dogs, but the Airedale is not among them. The word is not found in the Dictionary, nor could I find it in Webster's. I would like to know if this is not a new breed of dogs and I would like to know how they came by this name. If it is not troubling you too much, I would thank you for this information...
