It loses its temper in an attempt to "rough" the Magenta for venturing to say that in its last number it indulged "a wee bit in braggadocio," and makes one remark which may have been funny when it first appeared in Yale papers, though we have forgotten, and another which we do not repeat, because we are unwilling to believe that more...
...they are, they will fully accomplish their purpose if they lead many to look at these engravings who before did not know that they were on exhibition. This exhibition, I learn, takes the place of the former practice of opening the collection a certain number of hours every week for those who have made appointments. The new arrangement will undoubtedly please all who really wish to get from these art treasures what can be gotten by continued and undisturbed study, and what can never be obtained by satisfying a restless curiosity, which would skim over twenty prints in a time...
...night last week a Sophomore was spending the evening at the rooms of some lady friends. After delaying his departure as long as good manners would permit, he confessed his fear of being "gobbled" by the "Fresh." His fair friends agreed to accompany him back to his room. Accordingly, with three "high-school gum-drops" as his escort, he sallied forth; and so did the "Fresh"; and the result was that the "Soph" was pumped.
