While the length of this year's Christmas vacation, from December 22 through January 6, is gratifying, its timing is not. Students who must remain through Friday because of a required ROTC class often have difficulty in making reservations on weekend-crowded transportation facilities. Section men hold forth to such diminished numbers at the end of the week that the students who do remain are sorry they did.
