...really wonders. One thing that I didn't realize at the time, that I became aware of later, is that bulimia is just as dangerous. A low weight isn't the only thing that kills you. Eating disorders in any form are incredibly dangerous, and have a high fatality rate. Very few people fully recover. It does a lot of damage to the body. So being 52 lbs. is a little surreal. Now I'm at a totally healthy weight and I'm more than twice that. I can't picture myself half my own size...
