Harold Allen Rich, of the Sophomore Class, died early yesterday morning at the Cambridge Hospital as a result of injuries received Monday in a fall from his window in Weld Hall. Born at Fall River in 1881, he entered Harvard from Exeter in the fall of 1899. At Exeter he ranked unusually high in his work, and during his one year there was an honor man for all three terms. Yesterday the University crews rowed over the three and three-eights miles course from the Weld Boat Club to the Union Boat House. As Mr. Storrow did not wish the crews to race, he gave the second crew a start of over a minute, a lead which made racing out of the question. As this was the first time row in which H. Bancroft has stroked the crew, he was watched with great interest. The crew did well, keeping the stroke long and hard, and, considering the rough water in the basin, made very good time.
