There will not be another separate 1905 drawing this year, but as announced in the catalogue, in the regular allotment on May 5, Seniors will be given preference in the assignment of rooms in Stoughton. Holworthy, Weld and the middle entry of Thayer. A list of all the College rooms not engaged for 1904-05, except rooms in Wadsworth House and a few rooms in Holyoke House, with blank forms of application will be ready for delivery at the Bursar's office April 6. ...fire broke out in Weld 28 last night shortly after 8 o'clock. Neither of the occupants of the room was in at the time, but the blaze was discovered by people passing to a lecture and an alarm was sent in. The fire was small, however, and was extinguished before the arrival of the engine company. Except for the ruining of several articles of furniture by chemicals and the theft of some other property, the loss was small. The cause of the fire is supposed to have been a burning cigarette stub thrown carelessly among some sofa-pillows...
