...play, Exeter renewed her attack on the Freshman line, which was now weakened by substitutes, and scored with ease. Strassburger's attempt at goal hit the cross-bar. After the kickoff, Exeter was held for downs, and two end runs by Hutchinson tied the score. Hutchinson's punt-out went far over the heads of the backs. No one of the three Freshman left tackles who played in the game could defend his position. Jones at right tackle did much better. The whole offense lacked any kind of team play. Hutchinson's punting was steady, and the work...

Directly after the first kick-off Laurson went around Campbell for fifteen yards, but Harvard got the ball on a punt and began a march toward the goal. Short plunges by Ellis and Kendall and two runs of eight and twenty yards by Kendall and a final buck of four yards scored the first touchdown. J. Lawrence kicked the goal. Sawin was not on the field, as his injured knee prevents his doing any work. Hallowell did some kicking and went through the signal practice, but took no part in the actual playing. Burnett came out for the first time this year, and went through a little individual practice. Of the men who played in the game Ellis did the best work. He made steady gains by leaping over the line and by keeping...

...Freshman eleven won the game with the Cambridge High School yesterday by a score of 22 to 0. In the first half the first eleven could score but once; the substitute eleven, which went in for the second half, played much more creditably and scored three touchdowns. The slippery field made team play impossible. Several of the players on both teams showed, however, considerable individual ability. Pruyn of the Freshmen, in particular, played an excellent game and made long runs for two of the touchdowns...
