Will the managers of the Whist Tournament allow a suggestion as to the manner of determining the winning two couples from each section? Two methods have been proposed, but both are opened to objection. If the decision is made on the basis of games won, the element of luck is unnecessarily large. ...desired to call attention to the fact that so far but six men have entered the whist tournament. These tournaments heretofore have been large, and have furnished a good deal of sport for those intested in the game. This is the first time for several years that the tournament has been open to all members of the university, and an only opportunity is now offered for finding the best whist players in the college.
