Last year, with J. L. White '06 as chairman, the committee gave sixty-five entertainments. These entertainments are given free of charge to various philanthropic institutions in the vicinity of Cambridge, and consist of vocal and instrumental music, reading and sleight-of-hand performances. The kind of entertainment offered is simple and informal, and no great ability is required.
