This afternoon J. C. White, 2d, '17 was placed at 4 on University A, since M. Taylor '18 took 6, the place of H. S. Middendorf '16, who will be out until tomorrow with a cold. This change is not at all permanent. White also rowed his regular position with the second crew today. Coaches Herrick and Haines this afternoon laid great emphasis on the catch, and spent much time in showing the first eight how to use the power which they have in abundance.
