...minute scrimmage at the Arena yesterday afternoon in which the Freshmen showed their superiority by winning 3 to 0. The Freshmen had excellent stick-work and their shooting was superior to that of the second team, but they showed little in the way of organized team-play. Both Whitmarsh and Gwathmey played excellently at goal and the work of Morgan and Percy was particularly noticeable in the Freshman line. ...second hockey teams lined up for a brisk 40-minute scrimmage at the Stadium rinks yesterday afternoon. The Freshmen had considerably the better of the contest, defeating the second team 3 to 0. The score would undoubtedly have been larger had it not been for the excellent work of Whitmarsh, the second team goal-tend.
