...Exeter Saturday. The contest, although not close, was interesting on account of the brilliant fielding of both nines. The work of the 'varsity, both in the field and at the bat, was encouraging. Four of the seven runs were earned and sharp fielding prevented Exeter from scoring oftener. Wiggin made two phenomenal catches in center field and Paine and Whittemore also fielded well. C. J.
