...twenty-second annual tournament of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association will begin today on the courts of the Merion Cricket Club, Haverford, and will continue for several successive days. Daily play will last from 10 to 2.30, with an intermission for lunch. All of the leading colleges wil be represented by four men in the singles and two double teams. More importance than ever before wil be attached this year to the Freshman team. It is hoped that a team may be developed which will be able to defeat the Freshman team of Columbia.
