Princeton felt the loss of W. Humphreys, the regular left wing, who has been out of the game for some time because of an injury. Captain Peacock, Hills, and J. Both teams started off with a rush at the opening of the second period and gave the spectators an exhibition of fast and clever hockey. Princeton gained the advantage, however, and early in the period Cushman, the left wing of the Tigers, scored the first goal of the game. The Yale seven rallied when the score was against them and after the puck had shifted in several dashes up and down the rink, Burgess, the Yale rover, tied the score with a well-aimed shot from a position well in front of the goal.
