...Saturday night, Alfred Shrubb, British long-distance champion and coach of the University cross-country team, finished third in the ten-mile marathon race, 3 laps behind Coach Queal of the Yale cross-country team, who defeated Fitzgerald, the Australian runner by 5 yards.
