Colonel Samuel E. Winslow '85 has accepted the position of head coach to the 'varsity baseball nine. Colonel Winslow is a man who has done a great deal for Harvard in baseball matters, and is eminently fitted for the position which he has accepted. In 1885 he was captain of the 'varsity nine, which did not lose a game during the whole season. Never before nor since has Harvard had such a collection of strong hitters.
