Died. Henry Algernon du Pont, 88, onetime (1906-17) U. S. Senator from Delaware; cousin of present U. S. Senator Thomas Coleman du Pont (gunpowder, General Motors, mining, banking, street railways); in Winterthur, Del.; suddenly, of heart failure. He was great-grandson of French economist Pierre Samuel du Pont de Nemours (1739-1817), monarchist, who in 1799 emigrated to the U. S., where his son, Eleuthere Irenee, founded the since famed family powder factory and wealth.
