It is difficult to believe that a Faculty which this fall approved two "radical critiques" courses virtually controlled by students, will jealously withhold the privilege of giving Gen Ed courses from instructors and teaching fellows. Many obvious difficulties attended these ideas, but the majority of the Council felt that a way of implementing them could and should be found.
