When they were considering renovations to the Quad, Harvard officials said they didn't want to do half a job on the old Radcliffe buildings, preferring to accumulate more money to "do things right by doing it all at once," according to North House Master J. Woodland Hastings. But in nine months, after the renovation of Barnard and Bertram Halls, Harvard will be out of money for North and Cabot Houses.
