Several orders of exercise for class day were presented and the following one was adopted: Cheering, Class Histories, Class Wreath, Poem, Song. ...Yale are to compete during the next eight years. It is a sterling silver vase of Grecian design. It stands 16 inches high, and around the neck is the inscription, "University Track Athletic Cup." The decorations on the body represent the participants in the ancient contests for the laurel-wreath which is held aloft by the goddess of victory. The herald stands with his trumpet to his mouth and announces the winner. "Athlonika" is inscribed upon the body and there is also palm branch and seals of Harvard and Yale...
