Coach Ulen's tutees did not exactly shine but the opposition offered by the "Y" did not lend itself to record-breaking efforts on anyone's part. Bill Runge, of Boston, with wins in the 50 and 100, and a relay leg, was the sturdiest performer of the meet, while Eric Cutler's two victories in the distance events also stood out, particularly his 2:18.2 furlong.
