...this is the time of year when the winter games of the different colleges take place, it may be interesting to review briefly their history at Yale. The first winter meeting of which there is any notice, was held in '73, when Dr. Sargent went to Yale as instructor in gymnastics. ...prospects for a strong nine at Dartmouth are excellent. The candidates practice daily in the new cage and a good deal of excellent material has been developed. Of last year's nine only four men are left, Williams, '90, shortstop; Baehr, '90, pitcher; Ranney, M. S., and Jones, '90, catchers.
