...Varsity defeated Brown yesterday afternoon at Providence by a score of 14 to 3. The game brought out the best batting which the nine has shown this year, and if continued in the three remaining games, there is little doubt that the nine will successfully end a season, which started out with such poor prospects. Professor White's course on the History of the Greek Drama which was announced in yesterday's CRIMSON is such as has long been needed and will be highly appreciated.
