...Yesterday afternoon the Freshman eleven played against the second team in secret practice. At times the offensive work was ragged, but the defensive was good. During the line-up against the second, three goals from the field were made. A number of men were tried in different positions on the first eleven. McGrew, tackle, and Derby, halfback, were both slightly injured, but will be able to play by Saturday. The line-up of the backs and ends for Saturday's game is still undecided.
