...football practice yesterday afternoon was the most spirited of any of this year, the first eleven scoring three touchdown on the second team in a 20-minute scrimmage. There was an unusual amount of the snap in the work and many long runs were made by the backs, both on simple line plays and on forward passes and onside kicks. ...trial eights were on the river yesterday, and were coached from the "John Harvard" by Captain Bacon, and by Coach Wray, who has just returned from England. Both crews rowed up-stream to the Brighton bridge. Nearly all of the dormitory crews were also on the water. Coach Vail followed the Dunster and Hampden-Beck-Fairfax crews in the "Veritas."
