...informal University baseball team continued its series of wins by defeating the Naval Reserves from Commonwealth Pier yesterday by the decisive score of 7 to 2. Three runs in the third inning gave the informals a lead, which the sailors could not overcome. The features of the game were the ability of the University team to hit when hits meant runs, and the small total of three hits, which the Reserves could get from the tight pitching of H. M. Erb, '20. For six innings not a sailor made a safe hit, and at no time were they allowed more...

Much work was impossible because the trenches were so flooded with water that the pumps lent by the Wentworth Institute were in most places inadequate. Today, a pump will be borrowed from the Cambridge Electric Company which will probably be able to complete the work before tonight
...Boston College football squad scrimmaged against both the informal University and the Freshman elevens yesterday afternoon. The 1921 team was the first to line up against the Boston squad. 1921 punted soon after receiving the kick-off, and Boston College started a running attack. No gains could be made, however, and the Freshmen quickly recovered the ball. E. H. Stillman and R. S. Humphrey by line plunges ran the ball to the five yard mark. From here it took three downs before Stillman could score. The ball was then given to Boston on the Freshman 25 yard mark...
