Charles J. Whiteside, formerly Freshman crew coach at Syracuse University, arrived in Cambridge yesterday to take up his duties on the Harvard coaching staff. Whiteside made an excellent impression on those whom he met in the Harvard Athletic Association offices yesterday morning.
