...Faculty, the third party to the controversy, is far from unanimous in the stand it has taken. And yet, as far apart as the two poles stand the Faculty and undergraduates. When they chance to compare views in person, as at the CRIMSON dinner, both sides are convinced of the possibility of a satisfactory solution. Why, them, cannot a solution be reached? We are more than ready to do our share; we want only to be met halfway, and in the same friendly spirit that is now characteristic of at least the undergraduates' side of the argument...
...CRIMSON has never taken itself unseriously, and although there are undergraduates who decry it, yet it is certainly a real college organ, and speaks for the majority. Even when its opinions seem hasty or extreme, it often echoes most exactly the state of mind of its constituents. Harvard has available for this year's team men who won 39 points against Yale last year, while Yale has back winner of only 26 1-2 points. On the other hand Yale has had the more successful indoor season this year...
...gowns. As this old custom is of great value to the class, it is especially desirable that every Senior be prepared by May 1. All gowns ordered before April 15 are now ready for delivery at the Co-operative, and should be secured before Friday. Men who have not yet been measured should have it done at once so they may have their caps and gowns by Class...
