...Frederic Crowninshield, of New York, has just completed two stained glass windows to be placed in Memorial Hall by the class of 1863, in memory of their classmates who died during the war. The subject is from the sixth book of the Iliad and represents the parting of Hector from Andromache and his son Astyanax. The windows are five feet wide and fifteen feet high, and are of colored glass, no paint being used except in the flesh tones. Last Saturday the Harvard lacrosse team played the first championship game with the team from New York University. Game was called at four o'clock on Jarvis field, and one hour of play was indulged in which resulted in a score of eight goals to nothing in favor of Harvard. The game was uninteresting to onlookers, because it was so one-sided, Harvard out-playing her opponents at every point. The most noticeable feature of the game was the team-play of the home team.
