...regret that lack of space forced us to exclude from our columns any account of the reception of the Young Men's Christian Association. The association is certainly at much better advantage in having Holden Chapel for its meetings than in having the old rooms in the Lawrence Scientific building. Last night's reception was well attended and the remarks of Professor Peabody and others showed clearly how much hold the Association has on the university and how much greater its importance is growing.
