...Parliament, protesters set ablaze a large Christmas tree. Today, more clashes took place in the square and the surrounding streets as police used tear gas to break up a large group of protestors throwing rocks at the Parliament building. ...clashes erupted Monday in several midsized cities, on the island of Corfu, and in Thessaloniki, Greece's second largest city, where youth overturned trashcans, set them on fire, and threw rocks at a police station.
