BOSTON UNIVERSITY-CORNELL: I grossly underestimated the Terriers in my prediction of the opening round. Despite Jack Parker's whining about not wanting to face Dartmouth, and despite a so-called late season "slump", the Terriers made short work of the Green to the tune of 8 zip. Ed Walsh was, as always, superb in the nets. Cornell, on the other hand, had a tough time with St. Lawrence (the other team Parker was afraid of) and starting goalie Steve Kelleher was injured in the final minutes of the contest...

At Walter Paul's Shell station in McDonough, Ga., just off Interstate 75, sales were running at half last month's rate, even though Paul has two-thirds of last month...
...first Ali-Frazier fight was everything it was billed to be. This one is not likely to measure up as well. Since the last contest, both fighters have shown distinct signs of slippage. Ali has lost the zip of his youth, if we are to judge from his two lackluster performances against Norton, and Frazier was pathetically outgunned against Foreman...
...hours carousing at one of the wilder parties in the Kennebunk's rather mundane history which broke up after the state police busted it. He got in somewhat after curfew, and had a rather oppressive headache throughout the following afternoon--during which we offered up 48 points while tallying zip...
November 24: The Game. Who could forget that total washout (in more ways than one)? But then who would really want to remember it? Yale 35, Harvard zip...
