BOSTON UNIVERSITY-CORNELL: I grossly underestimated the Terriers in my prediction of the opening round. Despite Jack Parker's whining about not wanting to face Dartmouth, and despite a so-called late season "slump", the Terriers made short work of the Green to the tune of 8 zip. Ed Walsh was, as always, superb in the nets. Cornell, on the other hand, had a tough time with St. Lawrence (the other team Parker was afraid of) and starting goalie Steve Kelleher was injured in the final minutes of the contest...

Pump Appointments. Gasoline supplies remained capricious-plentiful in some places, scarce in others.
